FEES
The list of procedures for execution of which patent fees are collected, their amount and the date of payment as well as the grounds for exemption from fee payment and reduction of fee amount payable or refund are prescribed by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus «On Patent Fees».

* the fees are paid by payers:
- residents of the Republic of Belarus – in Belarusian roubles at the rates set in the base values as of the date of payment;
- non-residents of the Republic of Belarus – residents of the state parties to the Commonwealth of Independent States with which the Republic of Belarus has concluded treaties on cooperation in the field of industrial property protection – in Belarusian roubles or in foreign currency at the rates set in the base values as of the date of payment;
- other non-residents of the Republic of Belarus – in foreign currency at the rates set in the US dollars.
When payers constitute a group of residents and non-residents of the Republic of Belarus the sum of the fees is divided between the payers in equal shares in accordance with the rates set for each category of persons.
The fee paid is not repayable with the exception of the cases when payment was made in excess or when a procedure for which the fee was paid was not executed. |
