First Advisory and Methodological Service Point (AMSP) of the Training Center of Intellectual Property under the National Center of Intellectual Property was opened in March of 2005. In 2006, two more AMSPs of the Training Center of Intellectual Property began to function at the Republican Scientific and Technical Library (Russian acronym RNTB).

The AMSPs serve to provide:

free oral consultations on general matters related to:

• legal protection of industrial property rights titles (inventions, utility models, industrial designs, trademarks and service marks, appellations of origin, integrated circuit topographies, plant varieties), filing procedures and terms of application examination ;
• the procedure for payment of patent fees and privileges for their payment;
• the tariffs for patent information services;

directory inquiry service:

• addresses of the Center, RNTB and its affiliates, work hours;
• inquiry contact telephones at the Center, RNTB, the Supreme Court Patent Chamber of the Republic of Belarus;
• banking references for fee payment;
• Internet-sites of the Center and patent offices of foreign countries.
